here is a photo of a pair of bolsters that i just finished int the lenard francolni style . i use him for a lot of my gold inlay ideas on guns and knives .hope you like it .. thanks ron p.

VERY nice work. The mammoth tooth in the backround would look great with the bolsters.

Ron, years ago, I inlayed some bolsters with 24K gold scroll ---- The scales were mamoth ivory. I found that using Birchwood Casey plum brown on the bolsters, I received a soft brown background that cpmplimented the soft 24K gold and tan ivory. Something you might try. FWIW, Ken

thanks to all for your comments .. ken the bolsters are not for one of my knives but i like your suggestion but i cannot do it .

hi mike .. ok i will do that i just got 2 more from the colt custom shop to do and i will post some photos as i work on then ..BUT you know , suppies will get me to post them sooner .. ron p.
