    Default Running leaf border

Using the two wedding rings of her parents, I made this customer a thumb ring by adding a white gold band and engraved a running leaf border on it as she did not want stones.

It was my first time engraving an round surface.
I know it is not spectacular, but just wanted to share this idea as I often have to make one ring using two wedding rings.

From what I can tell, I think it turned out fine.

    Hi Arnaud,
    Very nice work ineed.
I got Sam's video and have been practicing cutting leaf and lumenesque boarders on rings. Could I ask what the width of the ring is and also what the width of the actual engraving is?

    thanks,

    Thank you Kevin and Les.

Les, the total wide of the ring is 8mm, the wide of the added white one is 2,35 mm.
I think it is important to have a good balance in size of the leaves, wide and length.
Perhaps it would have been better on this one to have 4 instead of 3 cuts on each side of the leaftops.

Arnaud, I really like what you have done here. Very elegant. I'll bet the customer will love it. I know I sure do. Well done.
