Barrettes and Crosses

This Christmas everyone wants barrettes and crosses. Last year was bracelets. Weird. Just might come out ahead this Christmas, so no complaining from me. Take care and enjoy I hope. Seth :beerchug:

Beautiful!!! I special like the flowers on the crosses.
Where do they use the barrettes for with the number, we don't know that in Europe.
And is this particular with Christmas wanted???

Its their ranch brand. A mark that is lightly burned into the side of cattle and horses for use in identification between different owners. It comes from necessity during the days of open range, and brands are usually passed down from generation to generation and has become a mark of pride for ranch families. Its also the law to brand your livestock here. Seth

Thanks Seth for the information.
We don't have those big cattles here in the Netherlands (no space enough).
But the farmers do mark the cow's with plasic earmarks, very ugly but it's also enforced by the law

Great Job Seth, the crosses are very nice, I really like the roses. Thanks for showing us. The biggest fight Ive ever got into with my brothers(as an adult) was over which one of us could use my great granfathers brand on our cattle. My oldest brother won, so I use my mothers grandfathers brand. Thanks for showing us.
