Hello Sam, I have been doing a lot of relief work lately and finelly dedided to sharpen a graver to 70 degrees using the duel angle sharpening fixture. I was amazed how well it worked for getting into those tight angles where the leaves seperate, with out banging the sides of the leaves as is so easy to do with the 90 degree graver. And talk about cutting a hair line. Have you tried that before? By the way I sharpened it out of a piece of carbide, with a 55 degree face holds up exceptionally well.

I use a 70 degree for shading and fine lines for gold inlays. I use a 55 degree face with a 15 degree heel. It works just fine
