Barry,

Yes, I do write, but never trained formally in literature, however, that passage about Cevantes is just one that I like, and not my own, I hasten to acknowledge ! Please note its quotation marks? I would have liked to list the author, but cannot find its author? I have journeyed through those Spanish windmills, and I do so admire Cervantes, and his magnificent Don Quixote. Who are we, as humans if we do not dare to dream the impossible dream?

Given that Cervantes and Willy Shakespeare passed on the same day, and that the cold will have now surrounded your spread, Barry, here is a short favourite of mine from the Bard's "Twelfth Night" :

When icicles hang by the wall,
And Dick the shepherd blows his nail,
And Tom bears logs into the hall,
And milk comes frozen home in pail,
When blood is nipp’d and ways be foul,
Then nightly sings the staring owl,
Tu-whit, Tu-who, a merry note,
While greasy Joan doth keel the pot.

When all aloud the wind doth blow,
And coughing drowns the parson’s saw,
And birds sit brooding in the snow,
And Marion’s nose looks red and raw,
When roasted crabs hiss in the bowl,
Then nightly sings the staring owl,
Tu-whit, Tu-who, a merry note,
While greasy Joan doth keel the pot.

best
