it seems like it could be finer the Italians use micro dots to facilitate the shading shown in a photograph. Like the old printing dots that we could see on a printed page. I personally do lines and dotted effect usually with relief thrown in to read in a bulino effect as i have done the bank note style for a long time in pictures. Strict bulino is very fine indeed.
