Question: Stones

I looked at the GRS site and they did not have any stones. Can some one point in the right direction as to where I can get some stones to work gold inlay with. I assume there are many grades some are rougher than others, rather than spending a bunch of money on a bunch of stones, maybe someone could let me know what grades would be best to start with. Thank you for your time.

I've been using the rapid breakdown stones for years. The ultra soft seem too soft for what I do. You can order from gesswein.com

if you refering to pave setting I found mosinite is the best for real close to diamonds
becareful not pick from gridle chips easy but they sparkle like diamond you can get them from rio grande NM. hope this helps
