looking for some advice to improve my engraving

your flow is good. your leaf and petal edges i think would improve with variable width cuts, or maybe flare cuts to add dimension or interest. i would also add contrast to the background by stippling,it. the design looks pleasing to my eye, though, you could just do more to it.

Excellent advice from the monkster. Definitely vary the width of your cuts where it's called for. There's a tutorial on this on iGraver.com
