Hi All
here is a picture of a new nickel i just finished
it is not in the caliber of the professional carvers but i am quite pleased with it and i feel that i am getting better
i have never seen a Cook as a subject
so we will see what it does on Ebay
please feel free to comment as that is one of the key ways to improve ones self
thanks
Dave

That came out nice Dave.

Kind of looks like a prison cook though - or at least one you don't want to mess with!

Dave, everything I see in your latest carving is really good..I,ve got a design ideal that would go along with this subject for a future carving for you to do...Let me know if you are interested..

OK, I see that you're shooting for my title of America's greatest left handed hobo nickel carver, but you're too late. The A.N.A. has already recognized my title in the latest issue of the Numismatist. That being said, very nice original carving. I don't think I've seen a chef before and you nailed it.

Make another one and call it the donut chef....
Looks good, I cant remember a chef being carved either.
There's rules and regulations to the left handed nickel thing. Are you a lefty too.
Maybe we should form a left handed nickel carvers club and Joe can be our leader.

Dave,
Good job! I can't say I've ever seen a chef/cook either. Nice job on the nose, I like the slant. I always enjoy seeing your work!
Take care- Amy
