Flower tool for Bright Cut application

Well this is what my flower tool looks like. As you can see you hold it so that the tool is almost perpendicular to the metal that is being engraved. This tool is not used to remove any metal what so ever. All it is doing is imparting the impression of the tool edge into the face of the metal. Lay one corner of the tool where you wish to begin and while maintaining even pressure, move your wrist and hand so that the contact of the tool progresses to the opposite corner and then back again while simultaneously rotating your engraving block in the direction that you want this tool to travel. Do not stop this motion until you have completely filled in your desired space with this shading. If you stop before you are finished be advised that it is very difficult to start where you left off without showing tell tale signs that there is a lack of continuity in the shading.
