The inlays are 24K gold, rose gold, green gold, platinum, silver, copper and brass.
If you take into consideration the gun metal gray, the ivory grips, and the blued screws, there are 10 different colors total.

I'm looking at the picture I posted and it seems a little less than sharp. I'll get a better picture of it shortly.

Brian this is good looking man, i like the different colors, must have been one heck of a job arranging all the colors in the right spots.

I have one Question if i may. Do one start with the harder gold first and if so how do one determine the hardness to know what to proceed with?

Cheers

Great work Brian, but I think that an engraver with your drive for perfection; will keep looking at the work and decide that there a few more places that could use (Just a little touch here or there.) ;)P.S.Have a great day.

There's a darn fine Church gun!

But I agree - now that you've made the slide so spiffy you've just got to spruce up the grip.

A very interesting Colt and a clever layout of colors. It was nice to meet you in Reno.

Yep I agree with you Joseph and KCSteve about the grip frame.

My very first post on this thread mentioned that very same thing:

"I thought I was done, but decided it needs a few more scratches here and there on the grip frame."

Hey Monk, that gun only shoots in the ten ring, don't you know..........

Show us after you get the additions in Brian. I tend to agree with you on that.

Beautiful job, by the way!

EXTREMELY nice Brian. Is the gun stainless? I have a Series 80 in stainless and I was wondering how it would cut?
