As a goldsmith myself I notice this is a lot of work.
You use old tools to drill holes :)
But also the diamond in the centre is antique

As a jeweler I think that is good work and as Arnaud says a lot of work. However I never used my twezers to attach gold solder to anything. It makes a mess of them in a short while. That is what a solder pick is for. They are specially made to do that. Different people do things different ways though.

And that folks is why I enjoy hand fabbed jewelry work, just wish I did more of that than repair work.

VERY cool videos. I like that guitar a lot too...and Johnny B. Goode is a great song!

I have old "egg-beater" style drills that I thought were old style. But that bow type drill looks primitive.:D
