New Santa Paula Bit

This is a loose jawed Santa Paula bit that I finished over the weekend. It is sterling overlaid with some engraving in the steel. Comments and suggestions are welcomed. - Denny

Thats Real Nice Denny!! What mouth is in it?Man i wished i could get my antequeing to look as good as yours and Stewarts.

Steve -

This bit has a half-breed mouth. This finish is real fast and easy. All you do is cold blue and then steel wool until it gets as grey as you want it. If it is cold in your shop heat the piece up to around 100 degrees before you cold blue. It goes on a little faster.

I like the different elements in the engraving. How you have separated leaves with wriggle cuts and the different flower and leaf combinations.
