On September 17th my dear friend and very talented engraver and sculptor Amayak Stepanyan became a citizen of the United States of America. I have been trying to get pictures of the event every since and today I finally got them. There are some some great names in this crowd of pictures, Ben and Kay Lane, Hans Rohner, a good engraver himself and his sister Lisa Rohner-Schaefer, (a few of the talented children of John Rohner’s). Also some noted artisans and jewelers who along with Amayak worked on Count Zadoro’s Faberge type projects that include Kay Conger , Lew Wackler, Bill Brinker and, Tom Finneran. I wish I could have been there, and I salute you Amayak.
Amayak's wife Svetlana also became a US citizen earlier this year. They are both super people and I am glad to know them.
