I called Grs about the numn fingers from stippleng and J.B. Taylor suggeasted a cover for the Monark and other tools that will solve the problem It is part number 004-368 cost $ 3.60

you can cut a short piece of surgical rubber tubing and slide it over the graver. that can help. also helps to reduce your "death grip" on the tool.

tubing used for fuel lines in remote control airplanes works well also. it comes in various diameters that are different colors so i can color-code my gravers, squares are orange, 120's yellow ,etc. makes switching up real easy :)

density of rubber

The problem of stippling is that over a period of time the nerves become damaged from the vibration, High density rubber transmits the vibration . You need a low density rubber to take up the shock .airplane tubing won,t help.GRS has a special rubber for stippling.
