    Default Are you a musician?

Frank P in Switzerland suggested that we conduct a poll to see how many engravers are also musicians. Sounds like a good idea to me, so let's give it a shot!

I am sure glad you put the radio/cd on the list. My music ability is like my drawing. Flys really well.

I only play for my own amusement. I'm currently playing a brass bodied resonator and trying some open tunings and a little slide work. Ya' really don't need an Amp with these things! Supposedly learning music will benefit us when we lose the rest of our marbles! Right now, it just irritates Stormy the wonder dog.

You should have had a separate category for banjo players!

The word gentleman is defined by a man who can play a banjo, but doesn't.

In addition to drums, guitar and piano, I'm learning to play the steel pan.
A real interesting instrument....it's actually made out of a 55 gallon oil drum.

I play guitar, banjo and sing. I worked the college circut for years back in mid 70's to mid 80's. Play for the grankids now and a coffee shop open stage now and again.
