I put some cold blue on the plate and rubbed with a pink pearl eraser. The suggestion that I look like this fine young man are more than I could hope for. When I have suggested that thought it was quickly tossed unmercifully aside and I was informed that I'm not anywhere close to his handsomeness. I can only wish that Ron and the others were correct.....alas. Thanks for the kind comments. Some days are all fetch and no pat on the head.

Wow, even better with the dark patina! I love it.

Saying Lee looks like this guy is cruel and unfair to the mountain man. :D

Lee,
Would you take his hat off so I can see for myself if it's you.

Hello Lee, that really looks great. It is amazing what a difference it makes in how an engraving is finished,
weather blued, plated or bead blasted.

That is an awesome piece of work. The more I study it, the more amazed I am. The felt looks like felt, the hair looks like hair, the skin looks like it would flex if you touched it, and I can almost smell the braintanned and smoked buckskin he is wearing. I am definantly going to have to spend some more time on bulino/banknote work the next time I can make it up for some training. Thank you for sharing it.

I love it. It reminds me of those movies...Jeremiah Johnson, and The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean...
Great work, Lee.
Cheers,
