A Bit of Scrimshaw

Greetings to All....I've spent a couple of days now working on some scrim for a friend, and thought I'd try to share it. Like most scrim folks, I did the basic line work with a home made stylus, but in this case, I did all the shading with a GRS Magnum handpiece and one of the small points they sell. There were 5 pieces total and if this photo uploads correctly, I'll try to post another one or 2 for your thoughts.....Hot day in Georgia today!

Nice scrimwork James! Thanks for showing it. I just had a peek at your other 2 flower scrims. They are good looking too, but I think this is my favorite of the three.

not only is your work very nice, i learned something; i didn't know you could do scrim using power.

That is really nice scrim work James! I'm just getting started with a stylus, and plastic spoons! Do you do your own art work, or do you use a template? Thanks again for the pic........Steve Granger
