Hi Jim
You have obviousley been working very hard at it. Your scrolls shapes/proportions are looking much better and even your leaf structure is starting to take shape.
Keep at it............bit by bit your starting to get the hang of it!!!

Another time or two and you will have made good progress.Try to make your scrolls kiss each other where they touch.

I like this a lot better than the previous designs. It has better growth and flow. I have been sketching from your design and I think I would try to make the vines around the bottom border flow naturally into the larger vines in the top area. In what I've done, I started the small vines symmetrically from the center bottom and grew them up into the top with the scrolls going opposite from the way you have them turning, lengthening the backbone the closer it gets to the top portion, until the vines grow into larger leaves that turn and meet in the middle between the top and bottom screen. The larger scrolls and leaves then frame the top window, gradually diminishing toward the very top corners
