she locked me out of the bedroom tonight so i attacked this helpless pocketwatch ! i went to windows for the font parade and found this ! btw, the ground is called "window chalk". dries fast and takes pencil very well and inkjet too. doesn't smear from fingering and doesn't flake or chip when cutting. got it at a local art outlet. when they get white, i'll surely get a batch.

Very nice, Monk! That chalk does seem to be a good ground. I think the dark chalk color shows up better than the contrast of silver with white ground.

true, but it will be washed away when the job is finished. the stuff is just a layout ground. i wanted to try white, but the red was the only color that was available. it seems to work very well.
