It took a while to relieve the background. Next time I'll add more and bigger trees. ;~) (Buckle is 1 3/4 X 2 3/4 inches)

that's a cool lookin job. i esp like the depth that shows there. did you make the buckle, or is it "store bought"? tyvm for showing

John , yes the body is wriggle cut, fast and close. I use wriggle to releave the background also. You can remove quite a bit of depth that way. You have to be a bit heavy handed but it works. After wriggling I use a flat to help smooth the background before working it with some small files and a final sanding to smooth it out. Usually 3 passes wriggling will get to a depth of about .015 or so. Final finishing will add another .002 or .003 to depth.
