One of the pieces I had at the Fega show, kind of different. Nice flat panels to work with, so that was welcome. Color case hardening done by Turnbull

I saw this one and it was terrific. His bolt rifle was the best piece in the show-won best rifle and engraver's choice. Well deserved.

beautiful, Brian! would you mind telling us a bit more about the piece? is it part firearm/part knife, or are the gun components just for operating the folding blade? did you make it?

It is a .22 ball and cap muzzle loader, with a fixed blade. The lever cocks the hammer. It was made by Csaba Vojko. It was well made, everything fit together well and the panels were pretty close to the same from left to right.


The first photo is a bit small on my monitor. Hopefully this one will show a bit more of the scrollwork in the steel. It's kind of my take on LDN scrolls that are found on many lever guns.
