    wow, great depth down thru the layers! more than most, this one looks like pen or pencil on paper. any particular reason for that?

    Thanks Mitch. The reason is because I've gravitated toward grainier looking pencil and charcoal brushes that produce a more organic look than the super sharp brushes I was using before. I still like both methods but right now I'm liking this more.
    The background is a parchment paper image. Hoping you will try iPad drawing some day.
