That just knocks me out. It's not just the lion it is the rest of it. Please post a enlarged photo. That chisel work is unsurpassed..

spectacular, Phil! my only criticism is that you need a little more stuff on your bench. i can still see the benchtop peeking thru in a couple spots. i really thought you were more professional than that.

I'm working on the side bolster now, after that there's a few small items to do like the safety, then a clean-up of all the carved scroll. It then goes back for hardening and regulating, the barrels will then be engraved and the goldwork finished, a lot of work with this big-un!
