Just read the thread on metal prep. What about metal prep after engraving? Sometimes the metal chips that end up on the surface may leave some marks that are not too noticeable but are there. I have used 3M polishing paper on them. First the yellow sheet then pink. What do the rest of you do or do you do anything at all?

In my opinion hard fine stones are the best because they do not round the edges of the cuts. However I often use wet and dry glues to a hardwood stick because it is handy. I glue thousand grit to popcycle sticks.
