cust wants a cuff bracelet. not sure if he wants engraving just yet. he is sure that he wants some copper "shapes" soldered onto the titanium. i got a batch of this free, and i was told it was "commercial pure". suffice to say i've engraved a batch of it with no problem . is there a way to solder or fuse copper onto the ti ? :(

Probably not without $35,000 worth of equipment - and even then I am not sure that a laser will work with these 2 particular metals?

However, if you know anyone who is a good fabricator nearby - it is a fairly simple matter to solder posts or pins to the copper and then rivet the "shapes" into place... find one, work with one.

thanks for that brian. i never thought of pin & rivet. that would work. as for going into the poorhouse to do this, not an option. i don't mind spending money to make things go faster/easier. but am kind of a scrooge investing in work that isn't likely to be done with regularity.
