I have noticed how much just a small amount of vibration makes when engraving. This is the solution my boss came up with. The "table" is made of 1/4 inch steel plate braced with angle iron bolted to the bench in several places and painted with hammer finish epoxy paint. This bad boy DOES NOT move. HUGE improvement!. Cuts are smoother and easier to follow in the scope. I should have complained years ago.:biggrin: Simple design that would work on most standard jewelers benches.
