Hey guys,

Heres a recent ring I carved in sterling silver. Was aiming for a bold almost cartoonish style...I think I got there. Kind of a free flowing design...some elements repeat but its really nice to just design and cut as I go. 95% of this was cut with a flat graver. Have a great day :)....theres also a link to a video of it :)

Thanks guys!!!
No I'm not going to shade it. I find for this style of heavy cutting with a flat graver, shading can sometimes flatten the design and lose its "boldness"....although if I was to rub in some ink to fill the background then I would shade....I tried it and immediately thought yes it needs shading with a black background. I tend to use this style with trade work where I can quickly execute a design with my flat graver. Its appealing and economical
