Hi Sam, I have been watching the development of digital layout and drawing for a while and have considered upgrading but want a dedicated system not affiliated to my personal computer. What do you think would be best for this Idea??????

The iPad is the only thing I can think of that's not tethered to a computer. I hear talk of the Surface which I believe is the Microsoft version, but I don't know anything about it. You might check the Wacom site and see if they have a tablet device for drawing.
