Arabesque or blackleaf style is often done in a random pattern. Here's an example of using blackleaf elements in a repeating scroll design.

I rarely do anything in one sitting unless it's something pretty simple. I work on them when I have free minutes during the day and evenings.

I like how it captures and directs your eyes to follow the flow.
I'd love to use it for practice if I may.
It would make an awesome pattern for a bracelet if you mirrored it at the base.

tyvm for that. your drawings are always so clean and well thought out, they appear to have been done pretty much in one session.

Beautiful as always Sam. Do you happen to know who does the title page for the "Double Gun Journal"? I have looked for a credit but never found it. You could knock one of those out of the park. Again beautifully done, oh how I wish. fred

Sam,
when are you going to publish a book with your drawings?
Thanks for sharing.
