Fine Gun Engraving

Wonderfully cut, highly skilled engraving.
But I can't say the same for the design. Does not well support the shape of the firearm. Very "stock' and unimaginative.
And just too much monotone coverage with out enough clever negative space or focal point of interest.
Easy to be critical...... sorry..... who knows under what constraints the engraver was working.
Maybe this engraver just followed the clients orders.
If so that's a shame. That kind of talent could have made this beautiful little single shot really shine.
