    Default Engraved in the round.

Okay, maybe not so much engraved as it it sculpted..
Here is a brass sculpture I did back in the last century, 1999, (has it really been that long?)

Anyway, I saw a beautiful card with this fish caught on a fly jumping out of the water.
Decided I had to see the other side.

It was carved from solid plate, used dremel and flexshaft, set ball bearings into the eyes.
    Textured with punches and burnished.

I had thought I had lost it until today, looking for something else, I ran across it.
Needs to be polished, but maybe it will develop a nice patina eventually.
Thanks for letting me show it off.

Looking at it, I could do better on the water, but still happy with how the fish turned out.

    Thanks,
It was a bunch of metal on the floor.
Ok did rough out the outline with a bandsaw.
The rest was files and rotory burrs.
    Took a long time.
