It's been a while since I posted any work on here... Life has been pretty crazy of late. Last week I did a little project that has many of the difficulty factors I try to avoid, but I went for it anyway... a black lacquered watch dial (over brass)... and the engraving at 17mm wide x 14mm high is pretty darned tiny for a guy that used to larger objects.
The dial is not original to the watch, it's a sterile, no branding dial... so the Submariner dial is safe and sound.
ANyway, I dug in and free-hand engraved it with no initial drawing or design on the dial... and here's the result...
