Just finished a pretty interesting engraving job. A sterling silver handle from a wooden cane used by a man born in 1775. He was walking down the street in 1837 when he tried to help a lady who was being robbed. He tried to use his cane but the thief took it from him and beat him to death with it. The cane stayed in the family and the name, birth and death dates of each new male descendant was engraved on the silver handle. Had to start a new silver handle and I was asked to do the engraving. I actually like the old hammer and chisel engraving better than mine
