I've never tried a "fantasy" concept before, although I always had and affinity towards them. So here is my interpretation of a "Steampunk Hammerhead". Don't try to find any logic in this, it just sort of "grew" as I worked around certain elements. The basic idea goes back to the mechanical fantasies of a Japanese artist named Sorayama. he did a lot of "sexy robots" and mechanical creatures. His were always shining smooth metal, so I went to a more rusty, riveted surface. The "window" on the side is tribute to the original "steampunk movie", "20 Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" by Disney. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the weird trip!

Again, many of the crisp details are missing in this JPEG image.

Tom, I am looking at it on my iPad Pro screen. Although it's not bad, it doesn't compare to the original Procreate image.

Mark that's fantastic! You should sell posters of this. It's crazy, it's wild, it's so well done!

Yep. That is really well thought out. I've been a fan of the steampunk aesthetic since before it was called steampunk. You nailed this one.
