Scott,Hendrick Fruhauf is in one of two books on German engravers I received from Bernie wife, Suhler Waffenkunst and Suhler Luxusgewehre. J.J.

Not only is Hendrik one of the world's top gun engravers, he is also the foremost authority on the history of Germanic gun engravers. When I get questions about German engravers that I can't answer, I refer the question to Hendrik.

I visited with Hendrik several years ago. He also escorted Scott and me around the Waffen Museum in Suhl and the proofhouse museum in Zella Mehlis. Hendrik is an outstanding guy all around.
