Hello! I just wanted to give a quick preliminary review of Engraver.com's engraving bench. I'm a jeweler and I'm just getting into engraving. I needed a bench but I didn't have the time/workshop to build a bench, so I ordered this bench.
Tira answered all of my questions and the transaction was smooth. The bench arrived today and was really easy to assemble. It's a beautiful piece as well. That being said, I already have some modifications in mind, which I'll do after I use it for awhile. My only real concern in terms of longevity is the box in the center of the bench, and how long it will be able to support a 30 lb vise. I suspect that I'll eventually remove the box and replace it with an engraving stand.
Anyway, I just wanted to give an "out-of-the-box" review since I've not seen much written about this bench. After some use I'll write a more thorough review.
