Well, I said that i would try to loosen-up a bit with my drawings. so here is my attempt at a more sketch-like rendering. I just found the image on google. I believe it is Ian McKellan, although it wasn't labeled as such. Anyway, it was a struggle keeping my paws off of the "smudge tool". I so wanted to smooth the rough lines! I did it as I would have a regular pencil drawing, all black and all white pencils. I allowed myself an eraser, since I would have used one quite a bit on real paper. It's a lot quicker than the other drawings I've done recently. I'm still not that pleased, because, to me, the sketch lines are still too hesitant and finicky, they don't have the quick assurance they should have. But it was still fun!

That's the look my prof in college wanted when he told me to "LOOSEN UP" when drawing or painting.
