Engraving A Browning A-5

ust putting the finishing touches on this Browning A-5. This is a 16 gauge semi-automatic.
It came from the FN factory in Belgium, and is considered a Grade 1 without any scroll work which makes it a perfect canvas to cover with game scenes.

Ditto what Monk says J.J. What kind of finish will it have ? And do you do the finishing ?

Mark,I will be doing the finishing it's going to be a French gray finish and fire blue all the screws like the last A-5 Brown I engraved. J.J.

Very nice project JJ! The only A-5 I engraved, many years ago, took me 14 hours to draw file off the factory scratchings. Your canvas is the only way to go. Post a photo when the finish is done.

Thank's all for your kind words I'll be posting more pictures of the Browning soon,SamW I have engraved A-5's with factory engraving but only engraved on the top two panels between the scrolls on the ends there is enough room to squeeze in two birds in flight. J.J.
