Anyone used a Leica s6? Not s60

I'm looking at investing in a decent scope.
The emz5 and Leica s60 in the UK seem to be very expensive. I have found a Leica s6 for a reasonable price. I've read reviews etc but want to know if it's OK for engraving or worth paying double for the emz 5 or even more for the s60.

Basically I'm trying to be cheap, but I know you get what you pay for.

However just found out I'm going to be a father and need to watch the pennies.

Thanks in advance

i've used a Leica S6 for over 15 yrs and really like it- BUT only use my S6 for a specialized bulino engraving set-up because the eyepieces are at a 60 degree angle. i also have an S6E that has the eyepieces at a 38 degree angle for my 'normal' engraving. you definitely want to clarify which one is for sale. an S6 would not be ideal for most engraving.

Note- neither of my Leicas are very new, so it's possible designations have changed. you definitely want a 38 degree model for regular work.
