When I am milling or doing normal bench work I use a Dropcam and it works fine. But when I tried to use it with smaller and finer detail like engraving or setting, is sucks.

My daughter is getting into the biz and thought it would be a good way for her to ask and me to show her.

Any thoughts on a close up camera for such a purpose, that isnt insanely priced, and hopefully to stream live?

I set up a used Sony HandiCam and it works great. You will need to fidget with a bracket depending on your set up.

well some of them are, they range fro 199 to 1599?

I think all new cameras can do live,you just need to connect it to pc via cable I guess some people mount their iphones and engrave live on instagram
