an octopuss doesn't have a nose. other than that, it's kinda cool lookin.

Monk it's an abstraction, not to be an exact replica of an Octopus. The design was inspired by an Octopus. The stone when set will represent an eye not a nose!
just kidding. there are people that say there's nothing left to do, and they want to "break out of the old boring established way of doing things-- this is a great example of breaking away from tradition.
