I've got 2 of the loops he uses. I really like them a lot, BUT the darn little clips that hold onto your glasses keep breaking. Funny, but the lens costs less than the clip.

i've tried using these. a headache usually shows up after an hour or so. i used them without eyeglasses and such. i like the video, as it's proof that there are others just as crazy as engravers

What is the brown goo used for holding the piece during engraving?

Shellac still has it's uses... we use it occasionally for basket & gallery type settings because it will go into crevices and support better than the hot glue or thermal plastics and is easier to remove.

Ultrasonic with a beaker of alcohol is used to dissolve residue.
