EngravingTransfers.com has recently completed a new Transfer Kit for the Colt Python. The kit comes compete with transfer sheets that allow the engraver to complete a Python with Magnum or Service Style grips. The Transfers also allow space for adding plain, styled or Gold Borders.
The Kits are designed by Mike Dubber in authentic Colt Style Scrolls. Working his way through three separate Pythons, Mike made up a hybrid set of transfers using the best attributes of all three. The Python Kits come complete with a casting of the Master Plate that was hand engraved as the original scrolls were being designed and fit to the firearms. Les Schowe does the technical work of scanning, digitizing and making fine adjustments to the engraved patterns to create the Transfer Sheets. Finally, selected areas of the Python Master Plate are completed in three levels of detailed hand engraved by Mike and Les. A finished casting comes with the order of a Complete Kit.
