Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum, and need your advice. I bought an assortment of metal decorative wire that included nickel silver patterned "wire". It is 5/8z' wide, and I am guessing the gauge to be 22. I have not tried to use it yet, as I have no idea as to annealing this type of metal.

Same goes for the sheet metal.

Thank you so much for helping me out with this. I learned the hard way about proceeding without knowing the correct way to handle specific materials.

Since Nickel Silver is non-ferus metal, to anneal heat until red and quench in water. Actually you can simply heat to red and allow to air cool.

Quenching can also be done in spiritus. This is better than water. As Brain said dont quench when red. Back to black/greyish. When the glow is gone I usually quench my silver/gold.
