So, I found a vintage ball vise, and it looks like it will clean up to a pretty good working vise. It was made in Cincinnati, and designed by L.W. Gery of New Orleans. I got it for under $100. It weighs just under 20 lbs. Anyone use one? This one is going to be what I work with for starting out.

Guys, I have only part of a REX. Wondering if you guys could help me out with details?
All I have is the two halves of the ball.

I need dimensions for the false jaws (risers) and the top jaws, so I can make them.
I’d also like details of the leather doughnut and wood base if you have them.
