After working about 300 hours on this Smith & Wesson 649 (not including design), I am seeing gold spots (or leaf fold-overs) when I close my eyes - about 250 of them! DSC00708-2.jpg DSC00685-2.jpg

Gordon, that is a VERY nicely engraved S&W. I really like everything about it. Bravo and congratulations on a job well done :clapping: :beerchug:

Gold Spots

Great job Gordon,
The gold is just correct that it does not over power the scrolls. Nice to see a great original design. Also good job on keeping tract of the hours, I give up and do not want to know how long it takes. [Not very business like--I know.]

Thanks fellows!

Mark - you'll notice I said about 300 hours - I'm afraid to keep too close of a count - what I'm making per hour might make me decide to get a different job.

Looking forward to FEGA and all you fine folks.
