I delete most of the photos every year...no sense in living in the past.
Learn to use the tools....draw everyday along with studying good leaf structure.. that's what it takes.
I treat every piece as though it is practice....the next in line should show some form of improvement....Shade.... structure or layout
Speed comes with being familiar with leaf structure and understanding how to manipulate it.
Nothing comes easy.
You can do the something...you just have to want it as much as I do.
