I'm enrolled in Rick Eaton's basic class next May.
Thought it would be nice to know some of my class mates before hand. Who else will be there?

I believe Rex Pedersen is teaching the basic gun engraving in May. I'm in Rick Eaton's Basic metal Engraving.

But... What topic are you most excited about? What are you going to get from the class?

I'm hoping to learn some finesse, ballance, and any other thing that I can draw on. I'm in jefferson city. So what are you hoping to take away?

I'm excited to get time with an instructor.

Other than what I've learned here I'm just cutting on my own.

So having a trained eye that can correct any bad habits im developing will be great. I've also been mostly cutting scroll so having the exposure to lettering is high on my list

LVCIAN-you're in a hub of engravers w/ Ray Cover, Browning custom shop as well as guys from Olin. Lots of options locally to network and learn.

Rex and Sandy are a great combo for the firearms class. None better for the class and tours (of places to eat) around Emporia.
