is there a power napper for the flint? geometry? how would one fashion a liner style in flint? a bugger i'd think.

Here are instructions for sharpening your own stone gravers. This one, for instance, is a GRS Easygraver 105 degree.

baloney! i want to learn how to do liners. you show none here.

That's easy - just knap however many you need for the lines, and lash them together. Sinew or rawhide will do. Just chew on the rawhide for a while.

Geez, Monk, do we have to specify every little step? Get with the program...;)

In the area where I live the engravings done with stone tools are still visible in places. Somewhere I have a photo of a scroll done in the last 2500 years
